The University of Florida contracted with DPC to build and deliver a brush truck to their Department of Wildlife and Conservation. This vehicle will be based at the Ordway Swisher Biological Station and be used primarily as a support unit for controlled burns. The department burns anywhere between 800-1,800 acres annually on their 9,500 acre facility. It will supplement two older vehicles and is occasionally used to support other local agencies with controlled burns.
