Lexington Park, MD - Unit 397

Vehicle Description:

The first Road Rescue ambulance sold by DPC Emergency Equipment in Maryland has been delivered to the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad.  A 2009 Ford E-450 / Road Rescue Ultramedic Type III will now serve as Unit 397.

The 168" module features Road Rescue's new exterior body door design which encloses the door hinge behind the door, thus eliminating exposure to road grime, etc.  All exterior body compartments are coated with dark gray Scorpion Liner and have multiple shelves and dividers for equipment storage.  All interior hand and grab rails are comprised of antimicrobial stainless steel.  An exterior slide-out drawer is located on the curbside of the body above the rear wheelwell.  The streetside front compartment features a Zico OTS electric oxygen lift to aide crews in changing out the primary O2 bottles.

Over 20 lights comprise the Whelen LED warning light package which includes a TAM85 LED Traffic Advisor on the rear.  A pair of 24" Grove Stuttertone air horns are mounted on the cab roof.  A color Auxiovox backup camera is mounted above the rear doors and the display is integrated into the Smart Display screen on the center console in the cab.

The unit was sold by Todd Hannah.
