Description:
The
first Road Rescue ambulance sold by DPC
Emergency Equipment in Maryland has been
delivered to the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad.
A 2009 Ford E-450 / Road Rescue Ultramedic Type
III will now serve as Unit 397.
The
168" module features Road Rescue's new exterior
body door design which encloses the door hinge
behind the door, thus eliminating exposure to
road grime, etc. All exterior body
compartments are coated with dark gray Scorpion
Liner and have multiple shelves and dividers for
equipment storage. All interior hand and
grab rails are comprised of antimicrobial
stainless steel. An exterior slide-out
drawer is located on the curbside of the body
above the rear wheelwell. The streetside
front compartment features a Zico
OTS electric oxygen lift to aide crews in
changing out the primary O2 bottles.
Over 20
lights comprise the Whelen LED warning light
package which includes a TAM85 LED Traffic
Advisor on the rear. A pair of 24" Grove
Stuttertone air horns are mounted on the cab
roof. A color Auxiovox backup camera is
mounted above the rear doors and the display is
integrated into the Smart Display screen on the
center console in the cab.
