A new PL Custom Medallion Type III ambulance has
been delivered to the Georgetown Emergency Response Medical
Service (GERMS) in Washington DC. GERMS is a
student run, all volunteer EMS agency that
provides emergency medical services to the
entire Georgetown University campus and
surrounding neighborhoods. The new unit is
designated as "Ambulance 9".
The new unit includes a 147" module mounted on a
2010 Ford E-350 chassis with a gasoline motor.
Features include aluminum interior cabinets, Whelen LED interior dome lights
and exterior warning lights, double wide CPR
seat, reflective chevron striping on the rear of
the body, curbside rear
compartment coated with Line-X, and Weldon V-MUX
multiplexed electrical system.
The lettering was installed by Fitch
Graphics of Elkton, Maryland.
