DPC Emergency Equipment has recently delivered a
new brush truck to the Ellendale Volunteer Fire
Company in Delaware. Located in northern
Sussex County, the new Brush 75-00 is a 2009
Ford F-350, 4-door chassis.
Much of the equipment was removed from
Ellendale's old unit, a 2001 Ford F-250, and
remounted on the new truck. This included
a portable winch, skid unit, and side body
storage compartments. Atop the 250-gallon water
tank and is a Hannay hose reel setup for
discharge of the left side of the vehicle.
Also a new control panel was fabricated and
installed at the rear of the truck bed to
operate the pump.
Other new items include a grille guard,
custom-fabricated radio console, and a Whelen
LED warning light package.
